Nottingham Forest 0-2 Leeds: Leeds beat hosts for second time in four days to reach third round

Leeds United beat Nottingham Forest 2-0 at the City Ground to reach the Carabao Cup third round for the first time in four seasons. Dan James opened the scoring in the 50th minute after Sean Longstaff's pass, and James Justin added the second in the 75th minute during a goalmouth scramble.

Forest created chances but lacked composure. James Trafford denied former Leeds striker Chris Wood, while Ola Aina and Nikola Milenkovic missed opportunities before the opening goal. Joe Rodon also made an important sliding challenge when Wood broke through.

The result gave Leeds a second victory at Forest in four days. For the hosts, it was another match without a goal as manager Oliver Glasner waited for the arrival of prospective striker Liam Delap.
