Scattered Thunderstorms Cross KELOLAND Before Warmer Weather Returns

Scattered thunderstorms moved through parts of KELOLAND on Wednesday morning, including a stronger cell near Redfield that produced locally heavy rain. Storms had also crossed western South Dakota overnight before redeveloping farther south and east.
Most showers and thunderstorms were expected to leave during the morning. Temperatures were forecast to approach 80 degrees later in the day, with partly cloudy skies and generally drier conditions during the afternoon.
Most locations were expected to remain dry the following day as warmer weather returned to the region.
