Al-Nassr produced a remarkable comeback to beat Al-Ettifaq 3-2 despite playing with ten men from the 12th minute. Goalkeeper Bento was sent off for bringing down Moussa Dembélé outside his area, forcing Abdulrahman Al-Otaibi to replace Angelo in an emergency reshuffle.
Al-Ettifaq took advantage through Ondrej Duda in the 31st minute and Alvaro Medran in first-half stoppage time. Cristiano Ronaldo was replaced by Abdullah Al-Khaibari after the interval as Al-Nassr tried to regain control.
João Félix created Sadio Mané's goal in the 74th minute and then delivered the corner headed in by Abdulelah Al-Amri three minutes later. Mané completed the turnaround from Sami Al-Najei's counter-attacking pass in the 90th minute. The win moved Al-Nassr to nine points and temporarily to the top of the table.
